Description
The Polex Modular Reverse-Pulse Cartridge Filter DustCollector series is of a robust and efficient range of dustcollectors. These units are ideally suited to continuousoperation since the filters are continuously cleaned whilein operation.
Operating Principle
Polluted air enters through the side panels (beneath thefilters) or the hopper(s) and is directed upwards throughthe array of cartridge filters. The larger dust particlesdrop out into the hopper while the lighter and finer particlescontinue into the array of filters. The cleaned airthen enters the clean-air chamber where an array ofblow-tubes are positioned. The tubes blast compressedair into the filters to help release the dust. The cleanedair is then discharged to atmosphere or through dischargeductwork.
Modular Design
Polex dust collectors have been designed with commoncomponents in mind. The interchangeability of componentsfor different sized dust collectors minimises stocklevels required and allows for fast delivery of assembleddust collectors. Components are stocked for all modelsand assembled to order.
Each Polex dust collector module is 1090 mm deep x1090 mm wide. Polex dust collectors are 100% modular
