PolexTM Modular Shaker Bag Filter Dust Collectors
Description
The Polex Modular Shaker Dust Collector series is of a robust and efficientrange of dust collectors. These units are ideally suited to intermittentoperation as the filters are cleaned after the fan is stopped.
Operating Principle
Polluted air enters through the side panels (beneath the filters) and isdirected upwards through the inside of an array of cylindrical bag filters.The larger dust particles drop out into the hopper while the lighter andfiner particles continue into the array of filters. The cleaned air then entersthe clean-air chamber where a shaker mechanism is located. Thevibratory action of the shaker mechanism assists in the releasing thedust from within the filters. The cleaned air is then discharged to atmosphereor through discharge ductwork.
Modular Design
Polex dust collectors have been designed with common components inmind. The interchangeability of components for different sized dust collectorsminimises stock levels required and allows for fast delivery ofassembled dust collectors. Components are stocked for all models andassembled to order.
Each Polex dust collector module is 1090 mm deep x 1090 mm wide.Polex dust collectors are 100% modular and can therefore be easilyextended as the airflow requirements through the system increase withouthaving to replace the entire dust collector.
Capacity
Dust collector filter capacities vary from 15 m2 to 1000 m2. Airflow capacitiesvary from as low as 1000 m3/h for a single module up to120,000 m3/h for a 40 module system.
